IDEF International Defense Industry Fair, which has been organized under the management and responsibility of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation and hosted by the Ministry of National Defense since 1993, has rapidly grown in the course of time and has reached a distinguished position among the most effective defense fairs in the world.
In today's world, where defense and security issues have become more important than ever owing to multidimensional developments, the promotion and marketing of high-tech defense industry products in Turkey and abroad is of great importance.
In this context, IDEF, one of the world's leading promotion platforms, responds to the needs of participating countries and companies in the best manner.
Moreover, as is well known, the defense industry plays a leading role in the renewal and development of technology.
Within this scope, the products and systems in the fields of defense, security, maritime, aviation and space industry to be exhibited at IDEF 2025 will be a source of inspiration not only for the defense industry sector, but also for other fields of activity.
In addition to all this, as a meeting point for delegations and companies from all over the world, IDEF also hosts numerous bilateral and multilateral cooperation meetings and agreements in the field of international defense industry.
It is also important that the contacts to be made between the official delegations of friendly and allied countries, Turkish authorities and local/foreign companies at the fair will contribute to regional and global peace.
In line with our “ Century of Türkiye” goals, as the Ministry of National Defense, we will continue to provide all kinds of support for the further development of international cooperation opportunities at the IDEF 2025 Fair.
In addition to the official delegations of friendly and allied countries, we will be delighted to welcome companies from many sectors, especially the defense industry, in Istanbul during the Fair, which will be held between 22-27 July 2025.
