IDEF'19 Fair Opened
IDEF 2019, 14th INTERNATIONAL DEFENCE INDUSTRY FAIR ATTRACTED GREAT ATTENTION IN TWO DAYSHosted by the Ministry of National Defense under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and under the management and responsibility of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, IDEF 2019, 14th International Defence Industry Fair, organized by TÜYAP Fairs and Exhibitions Organizations Inc. is taking place between April 30 – May 3, 2019 at TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center.
The opening was done by President of Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and fair host a large number of domestic and foreign statesmans and delegations. IDEF 2019 hosts 1.061 participant companies and their representatives, 150 delegations and 550 delegation members active in the defense field from 70 countries and 3 international organizations.
4.000 scheduled meetings plan to take place during the fair which hosts 15 Ministers, 13 Chiefs of General Staff, 16 Deputy Ministers, 5 Deputy Chiefs of Staff, 10 Force Commanders, 13 Undersecretaries and 2 Chief of General Directorate of Security, many civil and military procurement authorities.
Besides the products and services which are on display at fair center, maritime components are on display in West İstanbul Marina. Fair will be visited by defence industry professionals till May 3, 2019.
